Purpose
The EduQuest project is a cutting-edge web-based platform designed to revolutionize how students, coaches, clients, and administrators interact and collaborate within an academic and professional framework. By combining modern web technologies with intuitive design, it delivers a seamless user experience to streamline project management, enhance team collaboration, and facilitate clear communication among stakeholders. This platform addresses challenges in educational environments where effective coordination is crucial, allowing students to manage projects and receive feedback, coaches to oversee and guide, clients to provide inputs, and administrators to manage the system. The goal is to create a scalable, secure, and adaptable system that meets immediate needs and evolves with future requirements in education and professional landscapes.
Technologies
For the EduQuest project, we utilized StarUML to create the use case diagram, providing a clear visualization of user interactions and system functionalities. Additionally, Figma was employed to design the prototype, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly interface. These tools helped us structure the platform's architecture and design, focusing on scalability and usability while adhering to industry best practices in web development.
Soft Skills
In this project, I developed effective team communication by coordinating with my teammates to align our efforts. I also honed my problem-solving skills by addressing design and functionality challenges creatively. Additionally, I practiced time management to meet project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
Role
My role in the EduQuest project was that of a team collaborator. I contributed to designing the user interface using Figma, assisted in developing the use case diagram with StarUML, and participated in brainstorming sessions to define functional requirements. I also helped test the prototype to ensure it met the needs of all stakeholders.
Documentation
This project includes a comprehensive requirements analysis document covering functional and non-functional requirements. The functional requirements detail actions like logging in, managing assignments, and providing feedback, visualized collagenase a use case diagram. Non-functional requirements emphasize scalability, usability, and security. Additional materials include the Figma prototype design and StarUML diagrams, which can be expanded with screenshots for further clarity.
