Purpose
The Greenfield United FC project was an individual project for the Full Stack Essentials course, aimed at creating a dynamic one-pager website for a local football club. The club, Greenfield United FC, is a community-centric team participating in regional leagues while promoting youth football development. The website targets local football fans, families, and young aspiring players, highlighting the club's strong community involvement, youth programs, regular matches, and events. The main objectives were to increase local support and match attendance, promote youth football development, and enhance community engagement through various events.

For the Greenfield United FC project, I used Bootstrap components for responsive design, customizing them with Sass to align with the club's energetic branding. I researched different football websites for inspiration to ensure a modern and engaging layout. The front-end code was managed in a GitHub repository, and I created mock data for the API to display dynamic content like match results and event schedules. JavaScript was added to handle API integration and enhance interactivity on the website.
Soft Skills
In this project, I improved my self-discipline by managing all aspects of the project independently, meeting deadlines effectively. I also enhanced my research skills by analyzing various football websites to draw inspiration for design and functionality. Additionally, I developed attention to detail while customizing Bootstrap with Sass to ensure a polished and cohesive look.
Role
As this was an individual project, I took on the role of a full-stack developer. I handled everything from researching football websites for inspiration, designing the one-pager layout, customizing Bootstrap with Sass, setting up the GitHub repository, creating mock API data, and adding JavaScript for dynamic functionality. I also ensured the website was responsive and user-friendly for the target audience.
